I’ve never shared this before…But it’s time!
Today I want to tell you a really personal story that I’ve been putting off sharing with you all for far too long. I love to connect, give great content, and enjoy working with all of you more than you know, but one of the things that I’ve been holding back on sharing is my own success. Why is that? Probably a few reasons, but the reasons aren’t important. What IS important is that I’m doing it anyway.
At the beginning of this month I spent the weekend in NY with my husband and we went on this beautiful hike (pictured below) and I had this huge moment where I finally let myself accept and relish in all I’ve created in my business in the last 3 months, and now I am finally letting myself share it with all of you.
My business officially went live at the beginning of July and in the month of September I made over $21,000 in sales. Now, this was not what I would necessarily call an “overnight success” as I had previously built another online business, run a $45 million/year non-profit, coached locally, worked as a therapist, and have received my M.S. in mental health counseling and my M.B.A. I have definitely put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into my own development, education and experience. However, what I did was turn my story, education and experiences INTO my business and 3 months in it kind of does feel like an overnight success.
I share this for three reasons.
- Because I realize how important it is to OWN and CELEBRATE my success and because I deeply desire to share it with all of you who mean so much to me.
- Because I want you to know that quick success is possible, and it doesn’t have to be looked at negatively.
- Because I want you to know that by getting support, focusing on the right things, being strategic, knowing your unique & magnetic message, and connecting authentically with your audience this is all possible for you too. As much as I’ve turned my own story, education, and experience into my success you can too. I am not unique. I simply knew what I needed to do and made it happen.
This is exactly why I do what I do. To share with other women entrepreneurs what I did to experience major successes in my business and to show them how it is so possible for them as well. I am tired of seeing so many amazing women spinning their wheels and not getting their message out into the world, and it is my mission to change that.
If you’re ready to make a change, and really see success in your business I challenge you to ask yourself…what’s holding you back and how can you get the support you need?
